The owner of the Superbird and I are good friends.  I am still trying to find a cheap 1970 6-bbl intake for that car (someone stole the original).

I left him a message, see what he says.  I only talked to him before Power Tour and never mentioned selling the Bird and that DEFINITELY would have come up since it is one of his "babies".

He is looking cheap.  I email him prices and he lets me know if he wants it or not.  So far he has not said to grab anything.

Thanks though.

i doubt you will get a intake for less than 200 even if the cast ones are boat anchors

that car would be sweet with white interior and a pistol grip! :drool5:

charger_fan_4ever

So someone living in a hut in India is trying to scam an unsuspecting buyer. Should have updated his prices. $175k for a project is a little high considering the 5,000 mile survivor topped out at 103k on the bag.

Car could have had the aluminum intake as well.....but no way of knowing now

Are the twin screw drivers included?  Are they also number matching?

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

TheAutoArchaeologist

That's the funny thing, the car is free, the screwdrivers are $175,000 and he will not separate.

Yes - A lot a earlier 70 440-6 engines got the leftover aluminum intakes. Edelbrock finally delivered so Ma used 'em up. Seems like quite a few of the Birds got them for some reason.....probably an engine plant run.
