well this is my problem i dont understand with the lokar setup it pulss forward at the carb when the pedal is pressed and if i mount the linkage front side of the tranny the would pull the kickdown lever forward which is wrong , the lever should be pushed not pulled yes ? ( 727 ) so do i mount it behind the tranny to compensate ? i assumed that but i cant figure out how to mount it with what the cable came with doesnt make sense am i missing somthing ELSE ! ?

You are right. The cable must go past the kickdown lever and do a 180 so it pulls the lever back. I put mine on last summer, but I forgot how I did it and I didn't take any pics. Sorry.

The kit comes with a bracket to mount it on one of the bolts that holds the tail housing on.
