Hmm Prius or a 70 Super Bee  :smilielol:
I actually like the 70 Coronet / Bee , not my fav & yes I prefer the Plymouth in 70 but I would rather drive a bee than almost anything produced in the last 40 years !!

TUFCAT

Its fugly...unless of course it happens to be an original six pack or hemi car. :D

Ghoste

One of my earliest Mopar experiences surrounds a 70 Super Bee.  They get a huge thumbs up in my book.

TUFCAT

I love ya Ghoste, this is the very first time we'll disagree. The B-body belonged to Plymouth this year.

Same here.
Definitely in my top 5 favorite Mopars.  :drool5: :drool5:
There's a '70 Coronet right across town, I strain my neck looking at it every time I drive by.

Tuffy, When I was 14 I worked part time in the wash bay at a local Dodge dealership.  They were doing a repaint on a 70 Bee and I use stand there staring at it all the time so the body guys took pity on me and "let" me do some sanding and whatnot on the car.  Even got to help put on the stripe.  They hold a special place to me.
Now, that said, I have an older cousin who still ahs the 70 Road Runner he had when I was an impressionable teen and let me tell you buddy, there are some pretty wild memories attached to that car too.  So...

All due respect... I don't know that a guy who has a huge snout and a wing on the back of his car can judge based on appearance... glass houses and all, you know?

Actually... The "snout" and wing are not currently on my car... The whole thing is covered with bondo dust in body shop prison...

My favorite years for Mopar are 64 and 70 and the 70 superbee is a 100 proof shot of Mopar, in the right colour combo it's hard to beat.

Sweet

I voted hate, but I don't hate it. I just acknowledge the fact that it's ugly. It is. It's ugly.

I have no interest in buying one, but I appreciate them for what they are. It's kind of like the '63/64 Max Wedge cars. They're ugly as shitbricks, but they're cool.

I had a 1970 Dodge Super Bee 440 six pack car. Hemi Orange, white bench seat, Hurst pistol grip shifter, Trak Pak, AM radio, Heater and not much else. The guy who ordered it wanted an Orange car with black stripe but he also wanted a white interior. They went ahead and ordered the car and took the white stripes ( hockey sticks ) off and put on black. It wasn't my first choice but after a while I came to love that car. It always drew a crowd. Cost $3990 brand new. Sure wish I still had it!!! You have to admit, the front bumper was unique. Or was there a front bumper? What do you guys think?

Fred

I don't hate the crap out of it, I just don't like it. Can't come to term with that whole front end..

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I think I would have put the 'She Beast' in the Coronet and sent them both packing to grandma's house.   A girl that big is bound to appreciate the extra comfort of a b-body's ride :) :)

My opinion has done a 180 in the years since my youth.    Yeah,  I really like the look now.

That being said,  unless there's a winning powerball ticket in my future I have no plans to get one.
