Found this ad and I got to admit I laughed.

1968 Dodge Charger 2nd owner - $15000 (Wake County)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I have a 1968 Dodge Charger bought brand new by my dad in 1968. He gave it to me when I turned 16. It needs full restoration (body, interior, motor). I have not attempted to start it in about 6-7 years. Everything is original except the rims. I have a clear title. Feel free to send me your best offer, but I will NOT consider any offer below $15,000 since I know if you put $20,000-25,000 into this car, it will be worth a minimum of $50,000 - probably more since it is a one family owner. I really do not want to sell it. My plan was to give it to my oldest son when he turned 16, but times are rough and we need the money. However, I will not sell it for a penny less that $15,000 cash - I am not that strapped for cash! I can email/text pictures to serious inquiries!"

I heard that it was twelve '68 383 6-speeds that were made. Very rare car, probably have never been seen. I'd pay 15K for one of those....

ahhaha...typical seller they always say that, "if you put XXX dollars in you get 2(XXX) dollars back'  :brickwall:

I guess if a $30,000 direct deposit was made into the trunk it would be worth $45,000. Or maybe '68's are so valuable that they are automatic interest accumulators..... :scratchchin:
