can engine oil temp sender,be mounted in oil pump? hemi create,mopar oil pump.
any picture where to mount,would be great

Or can temp sensor be mountet next to oil pressure sensor,on top block with the firewall :icon_smile_question:

I would weld or tap & bung into the pan , you might be able to tap through the bypass spring cap on a big block oil pump & not interfere with the spring if the probe is mall enough .

I put mine in the other oil gallery plug at the back of the engine in my 383

no drilling & welding

I vote the pan, It will give you a stable reading of the bulk oil and it wont restrict any oil flow by the sender protruding into the gallery.

no oil is restricted...it's just the rear gallery where the sender goes...it does not go down that far....plus, it's a long way down to the pan.....I think temp reading at the cam is better
