'71 v-code Challenger R/T resto... update 9/21; alot of stuff

Hey gang...
Just got my friend's '71 v-code Challenger R/T.. I'm going to put it back together for him.... The game plan is to have fun, learn more about E-bodies and he going to pay me to do it (granted, it's always "weird" taking money from a friend, but he knows it would help my '69 C500's restoration)... So, it's a win-win situation..

Vitals:
Autumn Bronze, black interior, black top, 440 six pack, 727, 3.23 suregrip. He's going with some performance mod's...

Update..... Got the side scoops on today. A couple of the mounting studs (I know, I know.. Many ways to take that one.  ) were broken. Hoss sent them off to get fix. Finally got some time to get them back on. The company who repaired them did a great job. I like the way they fit...

You know, that's one of thsoe appearance items I can never decide if I like or not.  They look good going on there but sometimes I see a Challenger with them and just do not do a thing for me.  Its coming together well isn't it.

It's been awhile and I've gotten a lot done............... There a lot of little things here and there.. But, Hoss is going to get the alignment done, some paint touch up work done and the stereo system installed. I left the interior purposely out so they don't mess something up...........

What is the color yellow of your charger? Just got a 69 charger same color but was told its not factory. Didn't have much luck searching and computer color machine calls it a Toyota yellow. Mine looks identical to yours.

If you're referring to my Charger 500, it is Y2 yellow for '69...........

That Chally is sweet!  Love the color, and stripes, ans scoops!  Your buddys FJ5 Bee is awsome, too!  Of course I love that Daytona (should go without saying at this point) ~ Good luck finishing that 500 up!

Update... Hoss got the car's front end aligned and a JAMMING sound system in it........ I've got it back in the Mopar Hawkes' Nest for the turn-4 of putting it back together...

Have the seats in it as well............ Looks great with the black/orange houndstooth interior..........

Poor '69 C500 in the back ground has turned into a table........... But, I have soft towels and fender covers down there Allen......  :thumbsup:
