Good mopar mags?

Hello everyone, I recently suffered a fairly serious shoulder injury that should put me out for a good couple months and it will be over a year untill I recover full use (if ever). Its all very depressing to say the least... so I was wondering what are some good mopar magz to subscribe to?? Which ones do you guys like?

What I like to see in a chrysler mag is of course lots of chargers but also a heavy presence of 68-74 B bodys.
Basically just good articles on cool chrysler muscle, and maybe some junkyard find articles and car shows/swap meet coverage.

I subscribed to mopar collectors guide but was quickly dissapointed by their publication. Lots of articles on restoration nit picky stuff as well as a general lack of cool mopar muscle. They seemed to cover specific oddball cars and celebrity people with gifted lives and hot rods. Heavy "Hobby" coverage and updates also turned me off as I really just love the cars and could care less about their thoughts on the enviroment or their opinion of the economy.  I just wanna read about hemi chargers dammit! haha

So what do you guys like to read to get your chrysler fix?

I used to read Mopar Muscle A LOT but I can never find it around here anymore...

I don't know of any magazine that caters to only Chargers. Sure, there are Mustang and Camaro magazines!
Mopar Muscle, Mopar Action, Mopar Collectors Guide, Chrysler Power.....Those are the ones that I am familiar with.

TheAutoArchaeologist

Mopar Muscle is OK, they have a "Barn Finds" section at the end of the magazine.

Muscle Car Review is good, has tech and a "Rare Finds" section from my friend Jerry Heasley.

Mopar Collectors Guide always has interesting stuff in it.

Mopar Action has the best Tech around, but is Bi-Monthly.

I "cannot" confirm that the refreshed Hot Rod Magazine coming out next month will have a monthly Barn Find adventure from someone on this site.  I am restating... I "cannot" confirm anything.

Charger440RDN

It may sound a little selfish but I get mad when I open one at the grocery store and there is not one feature story on a Charger or any pictures of one. There are other classic mopars that need attention too I guess

Cool, good to um , not hear about it here then , well done  :icon_smile_big:
Always get a kick out of your blog doings from the other side of the planet

MCG, Mopar Action, Mopar Muscle, HoT Rod are all around $16.00 out here, so I dont get em very often
If I had to pick one I'd probably go for Mopar Action, Al Dente and Gromer cracks me  and Ehrenbergs tech articles are good.

If your that narrow minded you better stick to the Internet and search each mags database on old stories. Most of the good ones post there archives online.  :Twocents:

F8-4life

It has nothing to do with being narrow minded, but if you can gather all that from my post then hats off to ya!!
It has more to do with the fact that when I pay $30 to subscribe to a mcg I just expected something a little different. Maybe I just subscribed on the wrong year? I just expected more cars and less bs... I'm sure alot agree.

Another thing, why would I want to read updates on the same damn car that was in last months issue?? Isn't that alot like just giving me the same magazine as last months? I just was'nt impressed thats all. Not all bad of course I did like alot of stuff about mcg aswell and may get another year just for the hell of it. I guess I'm just wondering what other good mags are out there.

I've been a steady subscriber to 3 MOPAR mags for as long as I can remember: Mopar Action, MCG, & Mopar Muscle.

Overall, I like them all or else I wouldn't subscribe. Having said that...

Mopar Muscle has some decent feature cars every now & then, but I can do without 20 pages of engine dyno shootouts each issue and another 20 of advertisements. Their tech articles are "OK", mostly installing "kits" of something (brakes, exhaust, etc). I can also to without the modern Mopar car tech.

MCG used to be my all time favorite, when it was really "grass roots" and had good feature cars & articles. However within the last several years it is becoming less appealing to me, showcasing celebs, "superstar" lifestyles, etc etc. If I wanted to read The Inquirer, then I'd subscribe to that. I still enjoy the classifieds and Badalson's articles are great, and I still like to read about the "one-off's" they feature now & then without all the celebrity crap.

Mopar Action has been pulling the lead in my fave's for some time now. Best tech articles hands down, great feature cars, Q&A's, & I like their sense of humor spin on things.

There's only three of them that are Mopar specific. Subscribe to em all.

Of course you can get Hot Rod, Car Craft, and Popular Hot Rodding all for the price of just one Mopar subscription...

I was referring to just your desire to see chargers and b body's not overall  ;D I also intended to say don't subscribe but just go read them on line a month later and read what you want and skip the BS.
:Twocents:

For example here are all the B body's in MOPAR Muscle Magazine

F8-4life

Oh ok yea I love em all. I Dig b bodys of course the most but love e, a, and c bodys also. Oh and the late 50's forward look years rocked aswell.

68 CHARGER R/T

plenty of entertaining magazines out their  :icon_smile_big:

I let my subsciptions to Mopar Muscle and Hemmings Muscle machines lapse because I never had time to do more than skim through the pages.

Who has time to read magazines when you have the internet?  :smilielol: Plus this web site has all of the Charger photos and stories you could want.

Brass

I subscribe to Hemmings Muscle Machines and now Hot Rod.  But I try to pick up a copy of Mopar Muscle every once in a while.  MCG is 3/4 adds and Mopar Action tries way, way too hard to be gonzo.

Ghoste

I'd have to pretty much echo what bill440rt said.
