So I read all the posts and it seems that the truck driver called the owner of the car right after the accident. The company says it's true but the owner can't confirm there was an accident (police have no record) and can't confirm where the "remains" of the trailer and vehicles actually are. Interesting development....

I might have missed that. I read it as they told him one tow yard then another? The OP was a Canadian trying to import the car so he was trying to find out where the remains were so he could get a local forum member to go take pictures?
