SG1022

I was going through my pictures on my phone, and trying to clear some out. I have a habit of taking a picture of every classic car I see, and I thought some of you guys might enjoy them, and some of the stories that follow.  I'll keep updating it as I get more pictures.

Stand by for dumping of classic/interesting car photos;

First are a few I have already posted at some point. If you're interested in the story of a particular car, just let me know. Most cars I take photos of have stories.  :2thumbs:

This truck is a monster! It has an intercooled 12 valve Cummins swapped into it.

This car is at a mutual friend's house. Funny thing is;  a few months before this picture, I had gone to the dealership it was at, and posted pictures for a member here that was interested in it! Also, the white spot on the fridge is just frost.

In the order they appear;

Black Cuda- super chargarged 440 70 'Cuda. Runs a 10 second quarter mile, and belongs to a friend of mine.

3 car shot- My plum crazy '74, friend's 69 notchback 340, and a mustang he was working on

2 car photo-Vette with a 80s vette engine swapped in. Chevy nomad in the background. My friend was doing work on both of them

Signs- Old 60s Mopar signs from Hersheberger(sp?) in woodburn Oregon.

Yellow roadrunner- Car my buddy was working on. The ownder is a hobbyist painter, and it did everything himself. It looks amazing! He even had a cool airbrushed scene on the underside of the gastank

Old yellow dodge- A pretty clean(despite the moss) truck I went to look at in Portland.

Blue Challenger/Charger- I was on my way to look at the dodge truck, and saw these on a side road. I had to take a look! The '73 was incredible. Beautiful car.

Vette- A Corvette my friend did a bunch of work on. These photos are at the painter's we picked it up from. They lined up the existing fender, and painted it. . . at the cost of $10,000!  :o  The paint did look phenomenal.

Old Willy's- A truck I was looking at buying.  Located right outside Woodburn, Oregon.

Old Chevy truck/Old 'Yota- Some of my Uncle's projects.

6 Wheeled Totoya- Bizzare creature outside my work in Tualatin Oregon. It's an old Toyota truck with a custom flatbed, dual rear axles. . . one of them not attached to a driveline. . . yeah. It's powered by a old 350 from a vette, and has a towstrap for a hood latch.

Old green Ford- Owned by a the owner of Speed's towing in Portland.

Old Hemi-Located in the lobby of my buddy's auto shop.

Pace Car- My buddy was doing some work on it. Exhaust, etc, etc. Sounds great, but evidently only has first gear?  :P  The owner hasn't done the transmission yet.

Firebird-Old firebird I serviced

Blue/white old cars-Two cars that appear to be perpetually parked outside Napa in Tualatin Oregon.

VW Bug pack buggy- strange VW creation powerd by a Porsche 914 motor(located in the passenger seat!). $600, and oh yeah, it's street legal, and runs!

'70 Charger- Owned by a friend of my mechanic friend. Former 318 car, now a 440+6.

Power wagon-Friend of mine's. It has a mechanical 12 valve cummins swapped into it. This thing is a MASSIVE monster.

Camaro 'Vert- I was stopping by the store for a drink next to my work, and saw this beauty. I usually don't care for Camaros, but this thing was incredible! I talked to the owner for the while. It came from his wife's side of the family, and he restored it over 10 years. This was one of a handful of trips he has made since he recently finished it.  unfortunately his wife is no longer with him, but he takes her everywhere that car goes, right next to him in the passenger seat!

Roadrunner-I found this gem right up the road from my work, and the owner was more than happy to pop the hood, and let me take some photos.

Z28-A nice daily driver I service regularly at my work.

Old Volvo-A nice classic volvo driven by one of my dad's coworkers.

SS Camaro- Belongs to a friend. It's his wife's car, and she races it! Not only is it at the track nearly every weekend, but they had it 120+MPH at bonnevile.

Old Nova-A car that was getting work done by my friend.

'71 Charger- found right outside Mt. Angel
