More micro management of my brake pull

Yes, my wife is correct; I DO micro manage the Charger.

I did a brake job last weekend to correct a pulling left condition; new hoses, wheel cylinders and shoes. I reinstalled (yes, a total beat down :brickwall:) everything and bled each side--twice.

I drove the car and the pull has mostly been eliminated as long as you are doing "regular, moderate" braking. Pedal is reasonably solid...

However when I had to step pretty aggressively on the brake, the car jumped to the left---hard enough that I'm writing a post to see what I need to do.

Any ideas?

Still, I love my micro-managed Charger!

Hmmmm....I'll double check but I had the whole system rebult about 5000 miles ago. I guess anything can happen in 5K!

Yeah, it wouldn't hurt to check all that stuff again.  Don't just inspect bushings, make sure nothing is losse or bent either.

how is the caster set ?
Is it to 69 spec or do you have 3-4* of caster

Obviously you have to turn to the right while you brake.  You're welcome.   :2thumbs:

J/K, If the left side is not clamping down harder than the right, change your bushings and whatever else down there you can afford and it'll stop nicely in a straight line.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I had the same problem a few years ago and while I was trying to figure it out the MC blew out. When I replaced it the pulling problem was gone. That was an 11 in. manual drum ..
