I've seen some races like that with 2 cars. No rules. That looks an awful lot like that kind of race, being as the blazer wasn't black flagged.

RIDELIKEHELL

That reminds me that Delaware raceway(near Strathroy Ontario,Canada) has their Enduro races starting up....crazy MF that guy was

I think the Jeep driver had a little too much faith in his 60 foot :)

Hmmm, let's see. A race where there's no rules, and I think I'll enter in my brand new SRT8 Jeep against a POS S-10 Blazer.

Dumbass....Deserved to get that thing smashed.

Geeze O pete!!  :o Nuckin' Fut's the sad thing is that guy in the Jeep will have to pay for all that shit out of pocket!!! Unless he make a false claim like a white deer ran into the side of it.  :smilielol:
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

Rubbin's Racin!

I would have gone all 'Cale Yarborough' on him after that move!

:rotz: Wish there was a video after math of the guy in the Jeep beating the pants out of the guy with the S-10 !!!! It was obviously intentional, you've got to have balls to do that to someone, over what appears to be a meaningless weekend race at some backwoods racetrack.
But then again,I would never do that with any nice vehicle I own.

To bad Kurt Busch wasn't driving the Jeep...would love to hear his "after race report"......That xxxx cut me the xxxx off, what in the world was he xxxxxxx thinking, .....etc, xxxx, etc, xxxx...........you get the idea........

(Why would you bring a nice Jeep to a race like that????)

One on One drags,   they have them every Friday night where I race at Sycamore Speedway. Single round one lappers,  win and keep going 'til theres only 2 of you and then you run for a 5-foot trophy. Seen a beat up '70s Impala intentionally do the same thing to a real nice (and fast) Pontiac G8 last summer.  Also some kid rolled his girlfreinds new Accord when he over corrected after clipping a tractor tire marking the inside of turn one.  In all my years running there and all the wild stuff I've seen,  that was the loudest I've ever heard the crowd roar.  Us regulars will run cars we intend to race later,  but haven't been stripped and prepped yet.  Most of the crowd doesn't know this and just love when we tangle our "daily drivers" in those 1 on 1's.

I gotta agree... He should have thought this out first. :slap:

I'd like to see the rest of the video to see which one got their ass kicked in the end.

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

RallyeMike

They used to have these at one of the tracks I raced at. It was called the "spectator drags". One lap 1/4 mile oval drag race. You would see new Vettes and all kinds of expensive stuff out there, and I always wondered if something like this would happen. I did it once in a Volare Wagon or something like that. It wasn't that memorable.

That's pretty good!

Not condoning the nastiness or stupidity, but, you have to wonder if there was a verbal exchange before the race?
There are some aggressive drivers in Atlanta that I would love to put that move on.

404NOTFOUND

The Jeep guy was already turned around. He should have kept going and hit the Blazer prick head on.
My 1969 Charger. RIP......Rest in pieces.

I've seen this video before, the race it takes place at apparently is during an event call the Beech Ridge Day of Destruction.

Unbelievable! That must have been red neck country because that wouldn't fly up here.

ramit

I agree that guy in the Jeep was pretty stupid for even entering the race but I have seen those races lots of times and no damage is done.  If you have a fast enough vehicle all you have to do is stay away from the other guy and you are fine but that guy in the S10 was just a plain old prick!   I would have chased his ass down and ran him into the wall!  :)

bull

If it were me in the Jeep it would have been game-on from that point. The whole side is already gone so might as well make it count. Probably would have just stuck in reverse and met him on corner three.

That would've been an improvement no doubt.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

So how about the blow by blow?   White car wins, dark car upset, back hoe is referee, white car ends up in stand off with police but gets to race again?
Please fill in the blanks. It's dark and the camera is a little shakey.
