Your best bet is to check with the tire manufacturer of the tire that you're planning on purchasing. The tire manufacturer will have a specified minimum & maximum wheel width for a particular tire.
What kind of tire are you planning on purchasing, and how wide is the wheel? 5.5", 6", 7"?   :shruggy:

I have a set of 5.5 ??? 14 in. road wheels and am debating weather to put tires on them or sell them and get wider rims so just wondering what size tire anyone else is running with those wheels. Having said that I have a set of  F70-14 bias ply redlines going on steel wheels with poverty hub caps going on the 500 when it goes back to stock. :shruggy:

If you know what tire size or where you're getting it from they will usually have a link to a wheel width chart on their website. I know Tire Rack has a chart for each brand of tire they sell, and Diamondback Classics has something similar.  :2thumbs:
