I've always wondered the same thing, why would someone air this in public & make it worse? It's always been best to get everything lined up legally first, then warn others later. There has to be a lawyer who would take this on contingency, mine did.

It sounds like the bodyshop guy has the car legally....scummy, but legally.  This whole scenario stinks to high hell and I bet what's been written here is about 1/1000th of a percent of the whole story.
