Maybe they had to do it over 7 or 8 times.

Hudson Hornet !

The best 4wd ever made. Period.  If they could have just built them with fiberglass bodies there would be soooooo many on the road today.  I miss mine terribly, but that is quite alot of money!

Totally agree.  Which model did you have?  I had a '76 Traveller with a 304.   It was disgustingly ugly in puke green, but that small block had a ton of torque down low.   I sold it to pay some bills about 16 years back... regret it all the time.

I think my favorite thing about the truck is you could wrench on almost every bolt on the truck with a 1/2" wrench, even a lot of the under-hood stuff.

Very cool old Scout, but nowhere near $80k worth, my brother in-law has one, I don't remember the year late 70's, 4 wheels almost as good as my Pops old CJ5 Jeep...

Yea, I would want to see a few reciepts.

I love the old IH's.  My wifes entire side of the family all worked at the old Scout plant here in Fort Wayne until she closed in the early 80's.

My wifes first car was a 1972 IH Travelall 4X4 with woodgrain down the sides. Not really every 16 year old girls dream car in 1990.  :P

My family has owned 13 so far, but most were scout 2's with 345 engines.  My favorite was a beautiful orange with a 345 and a burnt orange interior. Took my driver's test in that thing and had many many good times.
