According to the factory assembly sheets, the calipers were never painted although the rear drums would have been if you got the road wheels.  Kinda contrary to what they show in the short film where the calipers were painted the same color red.

Thanks for posting.  My 14 year old son turned on the closed caption 'transcribe audio' option on youtube.  No disrespect intended, but quite funny take.
Who in their right mind would say

Or maybe it protects us. 

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
