My youngest son has been saving for a 2nd gen for a while. He has helped allot with my my 73 but always wanted his own. Last month I learned of a 70 Charger that might be coming on the market and it was local. Last week Tom drove it home.

I helped him get it.  So until he pays me, monster engines and tubular suspensions will just be garage racing.  I asked him if he has introduced his girlfriend to the "other woman".

Nice!  Best year and color!!!   :boogie:

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.  ~A. Einstein

They should have used that car for bumblebee on the Transformers instead of the Camaro

Yea, the prices have changed. In 1978 I was wooking as a mechanic at Caldwell Chrysler Plymouth ,when a 68 red RT ,auto,a/c cruise, electric windows, and an eight track came thru the used car lot.  $ 500 later it was mine. Drove it four years, then sold it to go play with airplanes. Eight years later ,Tom was born. If I had known what a Charger guy he would become ,I never would of sold the 68.

Fred

If we would have known then what we know now.
Back then we couldn't get rid of them quick enough..............now we're buying them back for a king's ransom.  :slap:
