Could someone help me out with the hood turn signals on a '69? The car never had them so Im not sure where in the harness they hook up. I just have the lights with their plugs, where can I source the intermediate harness and where does it plug into the engine harness?

I had to get mine for my car.  Can't remember who had it but most likely I may have gotten it from Year One about 10 years ago.  I am sure that there are other vendors out there now who carry the same part but will charge less than year one.

Each turnsignal wire plugs into a "Y" wire harness (rear of the hood) and then plugs into the forward light harness (over the brake booster). The forward light harness plugs into the firewall and runs along the driver side to the front lights. Can you post a close up picture of the wiring on that side?

Since this car was a hood lamp delete that hole has a plug. Its fine, I will tie in somewhere to the directionals.. :scratchchin:

Even if the car did not come with the hood lamp directionals, you sill would have the gray plastic T plug where they would be connected to by the fire wall block where all the wires go through.

Oh, ok. I will look closer. I haven't quite had the chance. Do they only come on with the directionals or are they like the running lamps? (hi-lo)

Where are the wires supposed to go in the hood?  Mine go straight up from the connector and it's very sloppy.

you need three clips below in first picture

check out the picture Chris of ( Just 6T9 CHRG)  posted in this thread below
http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php?topic=81800.0

then look at the second picture of mine below   , where the Green arrows point to , thats how the wires run , up inside the hood , one each side  :yesnod:

***** (((take no notice of mine running up through one hole ( long story )  & its not thicker wiring on mine , just i have run it through vacuum line , just in case the the wires rub/cut  on the edge, when engine bay is hot as  they become really soft & flexable , over kill yes but i'm nutts like that  :icon_smile_blackeye: ,))) *****

Thanks Tan Top!   :2thumbs:

Seems the wiring is correct on mine then, it has those three clips and there's one wire going into each hole.  I didn't think it looked right but maybe with some rearranging and cleanup it'll look a bit more decent.  I actually like the way you routed yours, it looks much cleaner.
