What kind og fuses does a '69 charger have/need ??

Which of these, if any?  Found these  at summitracing.
BSS-AGX25   Bussmann AGX Fast-Acting Glass Tube Fuses
148-AGX20   Bussmann AGX Fast-Acting Glass Tube Fuses
148-AGC20   Bussmann AGC Glass Tube Fuses
148-AGC2   Bussmann AGC Glass Tube Fuses

What kind of fuse "style" is the one that fits? Where do you guys buy your fuses?

This is the only "fuse-chart" that I have been able to find. (found in the service manual)

Normally I buy them at any auto parts store.......

If buying online, try to size them up to the ones pictured if possible

mysil bergsprekken

buying online seems more difficult since sizing them up is hard to do.
But there have to be a system that describes these different fuse "styles" ?

Maybe someone will offer a fuse box that accepts the current blade push in fuse .Or a adapter that snaps in the stock fuse box and accepts blade push in fuses.Other than that fuse charts and auto parts stores looking for glass fuses

If I wasn't so dang broke, I would offer to simply mail you a "kit" with all the fuses..... :'(

Thanks for the offer HANDM. I can purchase one myself though, if I get a good tip what kind of kit to get.

I found these kits, are they any good, or just a waste of money on cheap crap that doesn't work right? (ending up with fried wires if overload should occur)

I have forgotten the length of the fuses I need.

The size you need is .25" x 1.25" (6mm x 30mm). They are known as "AGC" style fuses. I realize they are not a real common syle now but I would think an auto parts store would still have them. Don't know where you are located, however the parts stores in my part of Canada carry them. If not, then there is ebay.

Hope this info helps.

You can get a large assortment pack through Walmart fairly cheap. It has a bunch, some you won't need but it saves a lot of money.  :scratchchin:

Thanks, this helped. Exactly what I needed. Agc style and (6mm x 30mm).
I already know I need 20amp, 3amp and 7,5 amp.

Going to get bussmann fuses then.

Thanks for the tip. I don't have acess to walmart in near future, but will keep that in mind. Because a box of set would be nice to have around if needed or if someone else should be in need for an "odd" fuse.

Any opinion whether a slow or quick fuse should be used? Are everybody just running the "universal" ones?
