2 years at Carlisle, I bought a new set of check moldings and the Roof "Charger" Emblems for my 68.

I just noticed they didn't come with the speed or pal nuts  :brickwall:

Does anyone here know what size speed nuts I need for the Check and Roof Emblem ??? and the proper name so I can maybe find them at a part store.

I would hate get the wrong size, and tighten one thats too small, and maybe snap off a tab.

Thanks

I don't think they're supposed to come with speed nuts.  On my '69, the emblem shafts just push in.

If you're speaking to the "Charger" script emblem on the sail panels, they do have speed nuts holdin them in place. They are located behind the sail panel headliner and behind the hardboard panel beneath that.

I can't help with the size but here are the nut part #s. Charger emblem uses #9420263, check moulding uses #9420293. A quick online search shows the emblem nut on ebay and the moulding nut available from Bill Rolik, but no size is given. As you probably know, one specific nut could be used in various applications.
