I am putting my 1969 charger 440 magnum engine back together after having to pull both heads to find a threaded stud that fell into one of the cylinders. I have the car all set up and it runs but the accelerator is a lot harder to move now than it was before. I'm not sure I have the two springs on the drivers side of the carb attached correctly. If anyone has a close up of the where the two springs are supposed to be attached at I would greatly appreciate it

Just 6T9 CHGR

Which carb?  Originally only one spring was used

Carter?

Holley?

69  383 Automatic Carb.  Go by the first pic.

Should be one big spring for carb and a small skinny spring for the auto trans kick-down linkage.

I gotta pic here somewhere.   Any A/C?

Ah the kick down lever, that must be what the smaller/longer spring is for. Thanks guys.
