Looks to me like that is purple???? and the wheels look like late 70's magnum 15's I would say crack pipe price. I would buy Troy's before that if I had the cash.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

'70 Superbird 426 Hemi auto: Lindsley Bonneville Salt Flat world record holder (220.2mph)
Houston Mopar Club Connection

I had that in the back of my mind that it probably was a 500 because of the paint and wheels.

The question on that car though is what C500 it is though. I have tried several times to get a VIN on it to no avail

nascarxx29

With the VIN starting with XX29 it has to be one or the other, as a regular Charger would start with XS29.   A Daytona expert could tell you by the 155758 number if it could be a Daytona.  I think all Daytonas were built from a certain low number up to a higher number and if someone is trying to sell one with a number that is not in between those two numbers it is probably a phoney.

I agree, that's exactly what I was told many years ago by several people who know their wing cars.   :Twocents:

And you can trust them because they were never referred to as a Mopar Guru.     :smilielol:

Daytona would be 3551XX at the earliest other than 501's car it's the lowest VIN. 500's are from 110610 to 248666 this is off the top of my head though. From memory as well since I am at the ball field and can not look it up right now but I don't think of any 500's that fall in the 1557XX range.

Car has no fender tag, broadcast sheet, or dash plate.   Car is not even a Charger 500; it's just a total fraud.

I wondered about the location.  In the Craigslist ad the background looks G Bayish.

I know, someone contact Freddy & ask him if it's a good idea to buy said car.   :slap:

wingcarenvy

If the car is in Bakersfield, I could go look at it. Its about 150 miles from me. I will email and see if I can go see it in person.
