I have a 69 charger that my dad had almost finished restoring before he passed away, he only had the electrical system left to finish. I have gotten most of the of the issues fixed but my left turn signal is stumping me. When the headlight switch is off it works just fine but when the parking lights or headlights are on the left turn signal indicator on the dash and hood are always on. The signal indicator with flash like normal when I turn but the light won't go out. Does this sound like a ground issue?

Check your left parking light bulb (two filament bulb). Had the same issue and it turned out to be the bulb. Changed it and everything went back to normal.

That was my thought, maybe a single filament bulb was put in by mistake  :shruggy:

If the ground is bad the electrical will find another way to ground the system so make sure the bulb is good but make sure the socket is grounded well , often the socket will corrode between it & the housing just using an awl or center punch & staking the socket where it meets the housing will re establish the ground .
you can test with a simple jumper wire to see if the problem is solved with a better ground

Not only do Texans not use their turn signals they have a hard time figuring out what lane they want to be in  :shruggy:
