I am in the process of obtaining a block for my 505 stroker build.  This is the data that I have received.  The block was also in the process of an engine build when the work was discontinued.  The block was line honed and bored out to .030 over and honed (4.350) after the following measurements were taken.  The block was stored in cosmoline for some number of years.
Please provide your opinions and comments.
The present owner of the block is someone I know and I believe I can trust him.  He has built 10 - 15 engines before he stopped including a sub 8 second special duel-turbo charger for himself.

The mag inspection was a pass - no cracks found. That is about all the data I got on that one. As far as the sonic check, here are the results: (all numbers are the lower of the thrust surface measurements, so the other side was higher, also this was done before the overbore)

#1 - .245
#2 - .219
#3 - .227
#4 - .223
#5 - .216
#6 - .237
#7 - .219
#8 - .236

Numbers are as follows:
4t440 e ('74 truck 440 with cast crank)
11-13 (assembly month and day)
cast date - 10-18-1973
3698 830 440-1 casting number
