yeap... mine is begining to scream due the worn bushings. I can replace the bushings locally BUT... will be better some other "modern" unit maybe able to suck less load spining and still kinda original look fiting on same place.

hearing ideas.

My main concern is the high load the stok units put on the electrical system, which is for me the main reason to increase the alternator output. If I make to solve this, I will be PLENTY satisfied with alt I have which on normal conditions without A/C blower turned on, is really plenty. I usually drive with A/C ( tropical contry )

i think i saw some newer models on ebay without the round piece that attaches to the firewall.
