I have an old 383 engine block built in 6/67.  I traded a manifold for it in 1982 or 1983.  It has been disassembled and sitting in my garage for the past 30 years and is rusted.  I would like to know if it is any good.  What should I do or ask for have it checked out?

The outside is rusty, the gas pump cam is rusted in place.  The cylinders do not appear to have rust inside.

Thank you,

James
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
