Please help. I have a 68 Charger with 11' inch power drums. The brake booster that I have is somewhat different from the others that are noted as correct for either drums or discs but appears to be the one born with the car. I have seen these on other 68's but??? I had a different master cylinder when I purchased the car that is needless to say, junk and is long gone. I now have the one that has the curved hold down and the cadium plated cap. Can someone please confirm that I have the correct one with the drum set up. These are the pictures of my set up. I am having troubles getting my brakes bled and am replacing the Cardone rebuilt master cylinder with another one and confrimation with this set up. Any help or correct pictures are appreciated.

i'm no expert , but the master cylinder looks correct one for drums  :yesnod:
booster don't look the correct one ,

as far as i know all power drums on a second generation charger  ( except Hemi ) used a midland & ross booster

The booster you'll most likely get these days from the auto parts store is an aftermarket unit. They look quite a bit different. The original cores seem to have dried up.

What you've got pictured looks like the aftermarket booster.

Thanks for the help. I got the correct Midland Ross cadium plated and ready bolt in from Booster Dewey. He was great to deal with and a great price too.
