I'm to believe the power steering boxes on my MOPARS will be the death of me before long. First my 68 Coronet one leaks like a sive, rebuilt it with new seals and to this day good to go! ::) My 69 charger after I get it, it also leaks pull it out as many know is not a small project, rebuild it with new seals re-enstall and wamo still leaks.. but now it really leaks when the car is just sitting there parked :brickwall: It does leak alittle when under pressure when driving but dripps awhole lot more when sitting.  Now I have checked the return lines and hoses to ensure the connections are tight and everything seems legit, the actual power steering pump seems good, I thought maybe it was too over filled but still leaking. Any idea what may be the cause. I have a feeling maybe one of the seals didnt go in well and it will have to be removed but why leaking so much when parked? I did use a newer power steering fluid a clear style instead of the regualr thicker red stuff I used in the Coronet. Any suggestions or places I should look before I do the work of removal and rebuilt and take the car off the road for awhile?? :'( Thanks in advance for your help guys/gals...

Just curious as when you say rebuilt it, which seals or orings did you replace or was it all of them? Could be one got damaged on the install.  Here's a link with some pics of replacing a few if it helps.  http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,67669.0.html

I used a complete new seal kit and replaced with all seals. Thank you for the link It just baffels me why it leaks so much when just sitting?
