"Fresh barn find"

lol more like fresh swamp find.

SnoPro440

It was on craigslist for $1000 last week.  It wasn't in a barn either.

The color listed is "Green". I need to look in my Crayon box because I don't see anything that resembles green on the car. Maybe "Primer Gray Brown Almost Used To Be Green" color?  :shruggy:
And what a job giving it that "distressed" look! :eek2:

"62,144 ACTUAL MILES"

Okay...

It probably is the original mileage.  Cars dont last very long here in Minnerusta.   :Twocents:

it would have been nice to see under the car, but if the frames are useable, some quarter skins and fenders, carpet and seat covers. dang, i got a motor and trans, the skins, and a few parts here and there. in my position, a grand would have been an ok price for that. :yesnod:

It sure might be the original mileage seeing it sat for so long, but that's what I thought was so ironic.  You'd expect to see something that resembles a car if it has less than 100K miles on it.

I saw this turd and thought it was the same rusted fritter that had been on there a few weeks prior although different setting (new owner must have seen the light!!)
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

The words 'BARN FIND' is a term now too lossely used in society to add value to something.....

It used to be true before the internet days that a barn find was something spectualur, but not anymore.  YOu have to figure though alot of guys put things in the barn for 1 min then find it 5mins later and say barn find.

That is what a dead '68 charger looks like.

If it's found at the bottom of the manure pile, it's a barn find.
My 1969 Charger. RIP......Rest in pieces.

Arigmaster

This is probably one of those cars that sat because the owner was gonna "Fix 'er up some day." It looks like it's finally ready for the ultimat act of love by putting it out of it's misery. There is a set of railroad tracks right there so....

Tilar

Just a guess here but I think what people fail to realise is that it was probably a piece of crap when it was put IN the barn/storage building/warehouse/pole shed.
