Interesting...

1/15/68 - Hood mounted turn indicators no longer required. Also a wide sill molding option starting in February (code 529). What is that?

1/24/68 - Six-cylinder Charger now available starting February 1.

1/1/68 - Full horn ring steering wheel available. My '68 Charger R/T has this though, and it was built 12/28/1967.

5/20/68 - All 426 Hemi 4spd Chargers built after 6/1 will have flush exposed headlights and chrome windshield reveal.

very cool but I noticed it is missing my spring introduction 66-1 paint code. (dark Green metallic poly), but it has the 33-1 spring red color included.

Good Stuff!

Thanks Jon for taking the time to scan this information and share it.  :2thumbs:

I should have got this material out to the public a long time ago.  Jack Barry had been sitting on this 1968 dealer info for around 20 yrs. I always thought Barry Washington's web site had these records already. It was just last month that I found out that it was not the case.  Better late than never.......

You can see what we have available for 1966 & 1967 so far at http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library-2.shtml

None of the years are 'complete', so they are added as folks find, scan & submit them.

Thanks Jon & Barry! I feel somewhat vindicated for stating the fact that the 68 HEMI Charger 4spd would only be available as aflush grill exposed headlight car after June 1st 1968. I have this bulletin in my archives but have hidden it from myself.........

5/20/68 - All 426 Hemi 4spd Chargers built after 6/1 will have flush exposed headlights and chrome windshield reveal.
