Yup. He did, and he will probably be doing more sometime. Jamie and Bob are great guys. Very friendly, knowledgable and helpful.

As to why he did this? Well, it's a stunt and people like to me entertained. Why jump a car over 30 buses or why skydive, or why play golf? :shruggy: Why does anyone do anything they don't have to do? For the hellavit I guess.

Anyway, Jamie does stuntwork and I haven't yet figured out if it's his main job or his side job. His specialty is diving on two wheels and as you can see he's pretty darn good at it. IIRC he did the two-wheel stunt in the first Transformers movie (the old Bumble Bee tunnel scene). He also designed and helped build the Chevy Sonic kickflip stunt you saw on Superbowl Sunday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax0fSGS92F4&feature=related

Bull you're probably the first one to put a jump over busses, skydiving and golf in the same sentence.  You must play some wicked golf!   :icon_smile_big:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

This guy's pretty good,  can't find the clip but he was doing fast laps on 2 wheels in the same truck on a desert oval.  His passengers however,  are flippin' crazy:

I took a ride with him on 2-wheels a few years ago at a "Dukes" event.  (No, it wasn't in a Charger.)

Crazy amount of control he's got.  He's holding it up there for hundreds of yards and we were having a regular conversation the whole time.  He was doing it on a banked (non-level) racetrack too.

It felt pretty harsh when the car drops back down, and I was sitting on the low side.  He eases it down as carefully as possible but it still gives the bumpstops a good hard whack.  That has to leave you sore doing it repeatedly over & over again from the high side.
