I was stationed at Nellis AFB 95-02 in Las Vegas. I bought a 1970 Charger 500 from an F-15 crew chief for $600 and went to work. It took about 3 years and was quite a learning experience. I finished it in time to re-enlist with it. In 2001 I put it up for sale because I found a 69 Charger RT matching #'s 440, triple black car. Lucky for me the motor was rebuilt by a local racer. The motor was tight but the rest of the car needed some attention. I still have the 69 and the 70 sold to a guy in Denver. Currently the 69 was repainted and is now on jack stands as I am working on the brakes today.....I hope the pics load as I'm a newbie here!  TC

So....Thanksgiving Day morning 2009, I was rolling about 40 MPH in traffic and the car went from smooth to acting like it was running on 6 cylinders. I was a mile from the house and limped home. The small porcelin sleeve around the electrode of the # 1 cylinder plug came off. It chewed up the top of the piston and blew the head gasket. The Charger sat broke like that for 2 years. I was a full time student and finished school. In September I bought a engine stand & lift. The heads went to the shop and i went to work detailing everything. I pulled the grille too and detailed it as well....

Need some more pix.  Looks pretty good.

Stripe delete done correctly.  Don't see that very often.  :2thumbs:   Fram oil filters don't have a very good rep on these automobile forums.
Thanks for ensuring our freedom sir.
