Which door lock buttons originally came on 69's?

I have the chrome flat type in mine and apparently they're not original.  One of them snapped in half so I'd like to see which ones are original to the car.

Unlike my posting friend above , I'll take it a stab in the dark and assume we are talking Charger . From what I know all 66-70 Chargers had chrome buttons

there has been a debate on this before , from memory  at least for the 69 i think

sure the general opinion was color keyed to what ever the interior was

AFAIK Chargers had chrome buttons as well.

66-67 had chrome, I believe.

Most 68's had black (not sure about the earliest ones), as did 1969's for at least the first several months of the model year.

Mid/late '69's and later models had chromies.  My January '69 car had chrome buttons, but some guys with December cars report having black ones.  If you have a 1969 car assembled in December '68, you could probably use either and be considered "correct".  November and earlier probably should have black ones - but not all that many people know when the changeover occurred so it probably doesn't make any difference.

OP, we're referring to the interior push lock buttons, correct? Not the actual outer door handle buttons?

Yes interior push lock buttons, not the outer door handle buttons.  Sorry about that.  My car was built in June 69 if that helps.

I'm no expert, but my friends black interior 69 bee has black lock buttons.
His former tan interior 69 Charger had tan buttons.
So I vote for color keyed..

My car has chrome ones...    was originally a green interior...    guess they were replaced at some point - I like them though -

As far as outside handle buttons - mine are black...    Oct 1967 built 1968.

Ok so that means I have to decide what color interior to go with before I buy the push buttons...   

I'll probably just go with black, I can always paint them.  So who sells the good ones, ie the ones that don't snap in half after using it for a week?

My tan leather interior has chrome door lock knobs.  Most of the chrome is worn off, but the bottom part was still shiny chrome.  I just went out and verified it.  I don't know if build dates come into play but mine was a september 68 build.

My '69 with a blue interior had a broken blue lock button in the glove box, so I'm guessing they were color coded originally.

Looks like they're supposed to be color coded yes, makes me wonder if some cars left the show room with the chrome buttons already installed. 

I'm going with black when I get a black interior.  I like the chrome accents in the interior but I don't really need it on the upper pads.

There is no such thing as "interior push lock buttons" only knobs that you manually pull up or push down.
