Smoke Coming Out Of Oil Filler Cap?

Is this normal? its just a little smoke its not billowing out but you notice it when you take the oil filler cap off while the vehicle is running. 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis 5.0.

probably just a little engine back pressure,i would not worry about it

ok thanks. I just picked up a new daily driver, the F150 is just too thirsty...and this was the only issue I can find with the car. Just making sure it was alright before I start putting money into it.

could be a sign of a blocked or restricted pcv system.  could even be a gummed up pcv valve.  should be an easy fix.
