Whats the difference between Flowmaster Super 40s and Super 44s?

I have TTI headers and looking to do a 2.5" exhaust going back to Flowmasters. Just wasn't sure the difference between the two?

The case dimensions are different. This will change the sound of the mufflers.
Also, the 44 is louder then the 40 but at the sound levels you will be at with either choice, I don't think you would notice. Just the sound

I really wish I had a live side by side comparison of the Dynomax and the Flowmasters. Everyone seems to hate flowmasters here but when I listen to the Dynomax on youtube, they sound so reserved and quiet. My wife's subaru forrester has a stock exhaust and its louder than the Dynomax mufflers.

I have new super 44's on my truck and don't like em. If you were closer I'd sell em to you cheap.

They are quieter than bullets.
