Sorry Jim, I meant to return your boat.............but after the river came the waterfall and that was the end of that!  :nana:

Camper looks very retro. What colour are you going to paint the exterior?

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

when its done, it will resemble the 50's scotty with white on top, a silver stripe that makes a z on the side and light green on the bottom. :2thumbs: and this will be cooler than that old boat anyway. glad you survived the falls. :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

yep, its that liquid rubber. the stuff works great. i sealed all the seams and screw holes with it. we have an ALCO store that sells the as seen on tv stuff. so i picked it up there. the camper has been through 3 huge down pours and hasnt leaked a drop yet. so far so good. :2thumbs:

Fun project! I've always toyed with the idea of restoing an old Shasta, Aljo etc. Tough to find one with crapper/shower though. There is a large group of folks here in NorCal who restore these old canned ham trailers and gather at campgrounds for one big party. They bring all manner of oldies to include small Airstreams and other smooth aluminum ones polished to blinding splendor. Often they pull them with same year cars/station wagons. Cool hobby but a money burner I'd suspect.
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

yep, i seen one of those groups. pretty cool stuff too. i was looking for one to restore and found an older shasta that i fixed up. the kids all wanted to borrow it all the time, so i decided to try this out. :2thumbs:
