i have the dreaded passenger side lower radiator hose. if i swap out the waterpump housing to the driver side outlet will that effect how anything fits or mounts up?

Chryco Psycho

No problem , all the brackets etc bolt up the same

Charger-Bodie

And let me add,you will be happy you changed it to drivers side lower. Thats how they were in those years ,so radiator, and hoses will be easier to get .
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior

Be careful and check the sticky on overheating....some housings are not made correctly and restrict flow!  :scratchchin:

That's a very nice radiator. I think the only housingsthat had issues were from 440 source

Nacho-RT74

eeehm not... steering pump changes to a higher location... Bolts around same locations but bracket makes it to sit higher.

In fact engines with original passenger side inlet water pump housing have an extra provision on block to the lower location of the steering pump

UNLESS you already have the correct steering pump assembly for 72 and earliers, which, if the case, then the passenger side water pump inlet is incorrect for your setup LOL
