I have done a search, but cant find the actual location of the holes that secure the emblem.

Does anyone know the distance in from the end of the 1/4 to the first hole?

hope these help. Sorry for the crude drawing.
I would have thought these would be a little more symmetrical then they are but the car is an original R/T stripe delete so i guess they must be correct.

thats interesting  different both sides !!
:scratchchin: will have a measure up   later , still got the original  factory fitted quarters on mine ,

if there is no definitive answer from a factory drawing or something  etc
maybe  any one with a V88 stripe delete car could post up their measurements  , & just average them

Well they were not exactly known for their precision engineering...

If you measure these things on 5 cars you'll get 6 different results.  I say line one side up so it looks good then match the other side.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

The non symmetry might stem from using the same emblem on each side.  In other words there is no right and left so the difference may compensating for different trialing letters and there proximity to the end of the car (which of course goes back to letters relationship to the pegs).

I am I making sense?   (Today words not have way.   :icon_smile_wink:
