Have done a bit of searching but can't really find a straight answer, I'm not familiar with the k-member setup at all.  On a 2nd gen charger, what all would be needed to put a 318 into a big block car?   Seems everyone goes the other way.    If it's just the motor mounts themselves that isn't a problem, just trying to find out of you need to get a whole diferent k member or something.  Thanks.

The k-member is the same - you just need the right motor mounts. That's the easy part. The transmission is totally different. There are specific big block and small block automatics. With a 4-speed you just need the right bell housing and linkage. Nearly everything attached to the engine is different too (exhaust, intake/carb/air cleaner, water pump, A/C, distributor, etc.). I believe the radiator and power steering pump are the same - but the bracket for the pump is surely different.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
