On a 69 Charger, if the car came factory with the rocker molding shown on this car, what code would be on the fender tag?

1969 Charger 500 #232008
1972 Charger, Grand Sport #41
1973 Charger "T/A"

'69 Charger 500's used a different style rocker molding than the other models.  :yesnod:
There was just an NOS set on eBay recently, price was over a grand.  :o

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

And they are very easy to dent/scratch being aluminum..........so I suppose one less part you have to worry about damage to when .....driving it. :nana:

IIRC it was a ribbed/fluted design, not flat & smooth.

69 OUR/TEA

GL #1 had them !! From what I gathered,it's not a rare option, but certainly not as common as you would think. The factory ones have a tapered countersunk hole for a tapered phillips head screw just on the back in front of the tire, where the repos do not.On my blue 69,I bought the repos, made a die out of wood for the back side and used a tapered punch that was alittle bigger than the screw, and stamped  it in to use the screw to make it appear factory.
Gonna do the same on my black 69 as the originals are not in the best of shape.

The 500's used '68 Coronet mouldings.

Also, any of the various surf-revival compilation albums this band has contributed to.
