the ones i found seem to have drawna lot of interest- where can i take them and have them copied?if it was reasonable, id like to make a copy for anyone who asked,or even find a way to have them put on a cd,that i could send around.any one know where to get something like that done,or is it even possible?i could probably photo copy them, but it would be difficult to get good prints of every page-looking for suggestions

Find a print shop to do it for you.I would be interested in it.  :icon_smile_cool:

Andy, As you know my father in law has been reprinting the shop manuals. It can be an expensive proposition. We did 25 at a time and have sold them pretty well. There's still a decent up front cost on it. I would say just about any printer could do it for you. If you are thinking about reprinting the owners manuals I think that's a diffrent printing process. My Father In law looked at them then told me it would not be cost effective ofr him to do them. I have thought about putting both on CD rom. You would have to have a duplexing scanner and probably put it in a PDF file. The only problem I can see is doing all the hard work to get it scanned in and on disk then some computer geek coming along and making reproductions of your disk and selling them for $1 a piece on Ebay.

i was actually thinking of the shop manuals,it seems like the owners books are reproduced inexpensively already.i am going to check with the guys who do my advertising at work, and see if i can find a way to get everyone who needs a shop manual a copy at a reasonable price-i dont need to make money on them, just dont want to loose any

Andy, There isn't a huge profit in the books. I get a deal from my Father in law. By the time we put it in a box and ship it, pay for ebay and paypal fees I am lucky to make $10 each book. That's not much when you figure how much you spend up front.

Hey Andy,

I had given some thought to having a copy made of a 1966 parts manual I got with a '66 Sport Fury. I was planning to keep the copy, & trade off the original for a year I needed, but it wasn't cheap & not really worth the trouble. I almost bought an original greasy one off ebay, but found new reprints for less. Same goes with the shop manuals. A place like the one in the link below, sells "EVERYTHING" at a very reasonable price. I bought a '68 reproduction parts manual for $85, a used Mopar binder for $15, & shipping for another $15. One year at Carlisle, I bought a reproduction 1969 Plymouth service manual from another vendor for $30. They're more now, but not by much.

Hope I didn't rain on your parade, but I figured you may want to know what's out there already.
