I pulled my taillight assembly off and dismantled it,after I got the charger lenses off,the 3 buckets on each side, that the bulbs plug into are silver on each side and top but the bottom appear to be flat black-I can't tell if this is just wear or intended-anybody let me know so I can get this back together??thanx

if they didn't seal well then maybe it s the dirt left in the water that sat there then evaporated, mine were always silver all over the bucket, helps with the reflectivity issues

should be chrome all over inside the housing....get a good quality silver paint....even white will work...

or get some chrome heating duct seal tape from hardware store and cut to fit inside of housing and you will have brighter rear lights
