Power Wagon bench seat

Does anyone know of a bench seat that would fit in a '76 Power Wagon reg cab?  I bought some captain seats out of an F150 and they put me too close to the steering wheel.  Even with the seat fully upright and back against the glass.  So now I'm thinking I'll just get a nice bench seat out of a newer tahoe, expidition or something.  Anyone put in a non original bench seat and have a good fit?

I put a pair of Cordoba buckets in mine. I cut the rear C- loop off the track and bolted it right to the floor. I also removed the plastic backs for an extra inch or so. There's nothing you can do about being close to the wheel. Such is the case with a regular cab. Even the bench seat wasn't much better.

I put a power seat out of a C body in my old '76 D100 many moons ago. I couldn't move it back far enough to be happy (I am 6'1") and ended up pulling it and putting a newer factory bench back in. What about the LRE/Warlock/SE short back buckets? I believe they were the predecessor (spiritually anyways) to the 40/20/40 splits in the '94-02 trucks.

My replacement puts me too close also..Oh well, it's better than what I had.

06 seats fit perfectly in my 71 Power Wagon, so don't know why they wouldn't fit yours.
