i remember the first time my charger had doors... that was the only thing it had at the time, a bare shell with mismatched doors... sure has come a decent way

Nothing yet.  Shop says that they'll start on mine next week.

You are making some great progress and the Charger is coming together very nicely! Just keep at it and you will be driving it soon!

Just noticed the wheels on it. I like that wheel and am wondering if you will use them when the car is drivable. Give them a good cleaning and, maybe, a little polishing with something like a Meguiars Polishing Ball and polish and it would look killer!

yeah the wheels are my pre school, gotta have, satin finish centerlines,i have had them on lots of other cars through the years,i bought the rears new & the fronts used.  YOUR CAR LOOKS AWESOME!!!

Thanks Charlie,   I will get over to your side of town with it eventually. I am still fussing with the carb tune right now and a few things still need adjusting such as the kickdown linkage and the passenger side sits a little lower than the driver's side. It's been too hot to drive it much and now some rain finally forecast around here. I am still holding to my promise to myself that it will never see rain again if I can help it!  Always something!! :-) To tell the truth, I am horrified to drive it in Houston's notoriously bad traffic over there and back to my side of town as there is just no way to avoid heavy traffic somewhere along the way no matter the time of day! Beltway 8 is bad and Loop 610 is worse!  Waaayyyy to much stop-and-go traffic on FM 1960/Hwy 6 to even consider also!  I just can't get there from here!  Ha!

Anyway, I always loved the centerlines and they will look really nice on your Charger when you can finally drive it. I am looking forward to seeing you post pictures of it on the road!
