well i got my torsion bars back in ,rack & pinion installed,headers,& upper a arms installed,everything from engine down,k frame & lower susp will all come out & redone later,after body & paint,gotta keep it movable under it own power & this is a good way to fit for header & rack & pinion clearance,example i need a different oil pan & tti headers for every thing to clear

well today got my firewall gasket kit,so put the ebrake& brake pedal assy's installed,master cyl,put stg column in,still gotta hook up the steering link to rack,installed ac compressor,water pump housing,alt,stg pump & got all pulleys to line up& installed battery tray,almost able to crank it up again,so i can move it out of the garage & do a major clean up of the garage,i am very messy,as my wife says lol,the will pull the iroc z in the garage ,finish putting it back together,so i can sell it to help fund the charger, thanx

Why take the time to paint everything but not paint the lower arms and swaybar, you already had everything  off    only need to paint K member then when you drop the engine.

the car has to be able to be moved,this is a mock up of parts,yet car does run,when my iroc z sells,i will then be able to build the engine,my a 518 overdrive trans is at the trans shop getting built,when the engine & trans are done will drop k frame,just undo upper bj's & a few other things, engine trans & all,then rebuild the rest of front suspension ,blast & paint k frame,the way i am doing this resto it is not creating that much double work,point is car is movable,& the next step is finish body & paint,then the drive train & everything will already be trial fitted i.e, headers,rack & pinion ect,ect

putting sheet metal back on so i can finish rt qtr panel & block sanding,gotta keep the lines straight

thanx Ron the car spent most of its life in Oklahoma,ark,& texas the car has very little rust,the rt quarter was all bunnndo & i knew that when i got the car.
