472 R/T SE

These numbers 9A278203 are most likely the last 8 numbers of the VIN.  The other ones are stamped plant #'s IIRC?

2892093 shows as '69 Chrysler 440/375HP, '69 Dodge 440 and '69 Plymouth 440/375 and 383/335. 2810 is a Julian date code-basically 96 days into 1969. Hopefully someone smarter than me can tell you what the last # in that row is. VIN should be on a pad above these #'s?

PK2892093  2810 1490

PK= assembly plant
2892093 = Part number. Applications stated above
2810 = assembly date = April 7, 1969
1490 = transmission assembled that date.

9A278203 = VIN number of the car it came from. 9 = model year, A = Lynch Road Assembly Plant. Since only B bodies were assembled at Lynch Road that year, we know it came from a Coronet or Belvedere based car. Since it's the HP automatic, it came from a 383 or 440 car. Likely suspects include a Road Runner, Super Bee, GTX or Coronet R/T.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.
