I posted this over on Moparts as well.

This is a youtube video comprised of several different excerpts of interviews with Neil Degrasse Tyson. If you don't know who he is, he is head of the hayden planetaium and probably the best speaker on the subject of astronomy and astrophysics on the planet today by virtue of the fact that he makes it approachable on a level unlike anyone since Carl Sagan.

I ask you to please self-moderate in replying to this. If you have something political to say, please sit on your hands.
I think this is too important to get locked and buried.

Please forward this to everyone you know.  I would like for this to go viral and for EVERYONE to see this.

Mods, please lock this if it gets political. Both parties are responsible for this so, hopefully, it won't.
I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

Oh, good.  I was afraid you made a back waxing video.  I'll watch it after work.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Thank you posting that. It was very eye opening. We all get so damn caught up in the stressful and complex activities of day to day life that important and inspiring things like this get lost in the shuffle. It is sad. What great music they had during that piece to really make it that much more intense.

That is a very moving view on NASA, I too would like to see NASA be a great entity once again, as long as they get rid of the waste that got them in trouble in the 1st place... I agree with most everything he said, it is all political though.... I'm not trying to make this a political post either... It's "Just a comment"... Thanks for posting the link
