A White '68 Charger in Bullit? A yin and yang thing?

I recorded a PBS showing of Bullit, and was getting ready to enjoy the classic chase scene, when I spied a white '68 XP hardtop in the background with it's right blinker on. It was a few minutes before the chase scene started. I've not seen this before. Has anyone else noticed this? :scratchchin:  A google search returned no results on a white Charger in the movie, or even a search on this forum. I took a couple screen shots for laughs.   ;)

Pretty cool find. Its most likely to be just a random background car, maybe not even planned to be that significant.

I own that white '68 from Bullit....

The blinker is STILL on...

Look for it at Barret - Jackson 2013... ;D

Ohhh, I guess you have to do a search on the correct spelling to get a good result.  :brickwall:   I did find some threads about the white charger using the spelling "bullitt". Just another case of "garbage in garbage out"....

Talking about the wheels.................man oh man how about the wheels on that porsche?? They look like they belong on a bicycle!

I've seen the car before. Strange it's not on IMCDB.

You guys all recognize the cab driver, right?

A few years after the taxi job he got drafted, went over to 'NAM and started talking about napalm.

Fred

My wife said to me yesterday when we started the movie that she didn't recall Robert Duvall playing in the movie..................I said yes, he's the taxi driver.

Yes, i noticed it before, NOW i got one for you guys! Did you notice in the original 1971 Vanishing Point the Challenger has power windows !  :icon_smile_wink: Freeze the frame when he is throwing the "queers" out of the passenger door, you can clearly see the power window switch on the passenger door! Now tell me how fast you guys are scrambling to your DVD players! :nana: any feedback? :shruggy: I wrote this in at least 20 years ago to a Mopar magazine and even they did not know it! :nana:

You can also see the window coming down smoothly like power windows operate sometime around when he picks up the female hitchiker in the british cut scene.

:scratchchin:  My car was originally a white non vinyl top car from the bay area.   I doubt there was that many white non vinyl top 68's made.   So, it's probably my old 68.

No Mormon underwear, but it still can't have any coffee, tea, or chocolate... :smilielol:

To keep in line the tangent, I've been watching a TV show online hosted by a guy who was a Mormon for 40 years and became a Christian and came out of Mormonism.

http://hotm.tv/

He airs one show per week talking about problems with Mormonism and differences between Mormonism and Christianity, etc.
