2009 Silver State Challenge. Out of all the numerous new Vettes and Porch's, a 72 Cuda and a 72 Pantera were lined up 1 and 2 on the start grid (I was maybe 20 cars back).

Now that's a road trip.

Awesome pics! Nothing better than a Mopar road trip. Here's some of mine:

A few hundred miles North of Perth in Western Australia are the Pinnacles:

This was a road trip to Australia's biggest Mopar show - Chryslers on the Murray:

Great shots but what kind of sand you guys have down there that doesnt stick to tires?

In that rear end shot of the "REALVH" it looks like the car was "placed" in that spot  ;)

Yeah we have very fine sand here, never had a problem with it sticking when dry. The car barely got a spec on it driving along that track.

Yep, we stopped and turned around, he said he was on a trek across Australia, West Coast to East Coast, for charity. Had taken him 6 weeks just to get to there and he still had thousands of kms to go! I showered him in tire smoke as we left, hope it didn't get caught in his helmet  . Have seen him on the news since, once when he was about halfway across, and again when he reached the Eastern states.
