Corbin Bernsen movie

This is way, way, way, away from anything to do with Chargers but I'm stuck. My wife is trying to track down what she thinks is an old Corbin Bernsen movie where he drives a blue mustang convertible into Mexico. I think he's being chased by crooks and there's an ex wife in there somewhere. She can't really remember the plot or the name of the movie. She's tried to find it on the internet but to no avail. She's beginning to wonder if she's wrong and the movie doesn't star Bernsen in the lead role.
Can anybody help?

Thanks for that. She did check out his list of movies on wikipedia but when she compared it with the imdb list she noticed that a couple were missing (from wiki).
Having checked out the extra movies on imdb she thinks she may have found it but won't know for sure until she delves a little deeper.
