Because my ex wife comes to the same forums  I do and it`s none of her business what I payed. Or anyone elses as far as I am concerned. I don`t like to make my financial business public, especially on the internet for everyone to see. Hope this answers your question. It does have tall bumperettes. I have another bumper, brakets and all with the same ones laying out back. I need more room lol. I like the original color of it too.

Hiding things from the wife (who read this ) and admitting on this public forumn is a recipe for disaster.  Ask me how I learned the hard way. :Twocents:

kikgas01

She is my EX wife and does not need to know my finances. My current wife of ten years does not care. Besides, nobody needs to know my financial info or my reasons for not sharing my private business. Unless everyone wants to put their REAL socal security numbers down or any other private info then that question should be dropped please. Just sayn...

ACUDANUT

Hey, relax.  Everyone here just wants to know if you got a good deal or got burned. It's not like you you bought a million dollar airplane.

Cooter

Maybe some folks don't want to be "Judged" by folks here? Maybe some people don't want to hear any sh*t over how f*cked they really got?

I can understand Kigas01. No need to know what you paid, then you couldn't flip it for profit as everybody'd be wanting it for what you paid. :2thumbs:

I didn`t get f@#$ed, been in them for years. I know the difference between a decent deal and not. This what I aquired a couple weeks ago, sheesh.

70 6-way seat...

Well you get the idea.......

I dunno, its pretty rusty.

Thats not rusty. Thats minor. Buy a car from Wisconsin, then you'll know what rust is

Scored the parts a couple weeks ago. Got the Charger yesterday, so no, 2 different deals from 2 different people and am not done searching lol. Might have found a 68, but we will see.
Wisconsin + Iowa = same rust, weather, snow salt etc. We usually get the rusty cars with good interiors.

kikgas01

It is to rusty to save guys. It needs every piece of metal replaced and I just don`t feel it is worth it. I dislike parting these cars out but imo, it`s a great complete running and driving parts car. :eek2:

Memphis Mopar

Ok since you wont tell how much you paid for the car.. Tell us how much you paid for the pile of parts...... Just kidding it is your business.

Regarding the wife, I tell her just one more.... :hah: :hah:

FWIW vote, in this case, some 1980's level patches, paint the F6 and beat accordingly....... :scratchchin:

F8-4life

yea its rusty but it's also F6

kikgas01

I can`t afford to restore it. It was nice to putt around in a Charger again though. I was going to use it as a parts car but changed my mind. Nothing else, I will sell it to someone who will restore it and find a different one. Maybe I can trade it for a different Mopar? Sure looks great in my Mopar garage!

Here is some pics from today when I got it running.

I dig the old Cal Custom valve covers!

69finder

Nice Fargo!! Is that a 48??  We (up here in Canada) got a few of those old Fargos around.  Cool trucks, I love the 'grill', totally different than any other car or truck (that I know of anyways, I don't know much!)

moparstuart

charger_fan_4ever

Either your good with the camera or its not that bad of shape :P

How are the frame rails ?

Looks like it needs typical charger stuff from the doors back. 1/4's,trunk floor, extensions, lower valance, maybe dutchman panel ?

$2500-$3000 in metal.

Local car 69 SE 383 from california rust free yet needs a trunk floor and 1 quarter. $17,900

kikgas01

Again, it needs every piece of metal replaced. There are pics on the 1st page too of this thread. The body makes it look better than it is, ALL pans, quarters, rails, dutchman panel/sail panel, roof skin, taillight panel. You name it, it needs it.... Thinking of calling hlpag and telling them 6 grand LOL...... :smilielol:  Again anyone who would come and look at it if I was to agree on a price would get up here and be disappointed. Another crappy video. I will get a good one posted tomorrow. Cellphone sucks for being a 8 meg hi-def recorder.... Click the pic.

kikgas01

Everyone wants me to put a price on it.... 4,500. There the cat is out of the bag. That is what I have in it...... That is what I will take....... I KNOW I can get my money back if not more on ebay....

kikgas01

Here is a better one. Click on it.

kikgas01

Gonna go a head and list it for trade in the for sale area later, thanks.
